God Meets You Right Where You Are

"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth"

Psalm 145:18

Some days feel put together, like you can accomplish anything. Other days are messy, rushed and most of the time overwhelming.

In those moments, it's easy to think we need to "get it together" to have everything perfect before you go to God.

We Tell ourselves:

"I'll just pray later; I am too tired as we continue scrolling through social media."

"I'll read my bible when everything is quiet and I can focus more."

"I'll come back when I am doing better and feeling closer to Him."

The thing with all our excuses is God never asked that of you, you convinced yourself He won't accept you as you are.

He has never asked for perfection, never asked for the best version of you. He wants the version of you that hits rock bottom, He just wants you as you are.

The crazy thing is even when we are folding laundry, when we are stressed to the max, when we overthink and think we failed him..... He is still there, waiting for us to come to him.

Grace doesn't meet you at the finish line, after you got that promotion, after you completed every task, you had for the day. Grace meets you in everything you do, you just have to stop and breathe and realize It is always there.

Just remember.....

You don't have to clean everything up first.

You don't have to have the perfect words.

You just have to come to Him.

God is not distant; he is near at all times.

Prayer:

God, thank you for meeting me right where I am. Help me to stop waiting for that "perfect moment" and just come to you as I am. Let me feel your presence in everything I do throughout the day. In your name I pray, Amen.
